Polymer Products

Our polymer products are specifically formulated to address various challenges encountered in water treatment, ensuring efficient and reliable results which our product, coagulants, process the eliminate suspended solid and color in raw water, potable water system and waste water treatment and flocculants use in combination with coagulant to eliminate suspended solid in raw water, sludge dewatering in dewatering system and reduce/remove color in waste water.

Flocculants

Chemical Description : What are flocculants?

Flocculants are substances that promote the agglomeration of fine particles present in a solution, creating a floc, which then floats to the surface (flotation) or settles to the bottom (sedimentation). This can then be more easily removed from the liquid.


Product Function : VS CHEM offers anionic and cationic flocculants in dry powder, liquid emulsion, and liquid solution forms that are derived from different methods of polymerization.

Dry Powders:  Monomers are polymerized in gel form.  The gel obtained is then ground and dried.  The main advantage of these products is the 100% activity.

Liquid Emulsions:  Monomers are emulsified in a solvent and then polymerized.  At the end of polymerization, a surfactant is added that makes the emulsion polymer readily dilutable in water.  

Liquid Solutions:  Monomers are polymerized at low concentration in aqueous solution.  The main advantage with these products is the simplicity of use.

Coagulants

Chemical Description : A coagulant is a chemical that is used to remove suspended solids from drinking water. They are made up of positively charged molecules, which help to provide effective neutralization of water.

Product Function : VS CHEM supplies cationic, organic coagulants.  Organic coagulants are usually in liquid form. Concentrations in activity range between 8 and 70%, with the most common concentrations of activity between 40 and 50%.
